GPA and UUJ Announce Fully Funded Masters Opportunities for 2018/19 Academic Year

At an event yesterday in Ulster University at Jordanstown the GPA announced that it will offer a new round of scholarships as part of a new education partnership with Ulster University at Jordanstown (UUJ) for the coming academic year 2018/19. These scholarships will be offered to GPA members who wish to study any Masters degree course at the University. The course fees will by jointly funded by the GPA and UUJ. This latest agreement with UUJ further strengthens the GPA’s Enhanced Scholarship Programme which include formal partnerships with DCU, Waterford IT, Athlone IT, the Irish Management Institute and Setanta College.

 

Speaking today GPA National Education Officer Noel Connors said; “The GPA is very pleased to be in a position to offer these new scholarships to our members in conjunction with Ulster University as part of our Enhanced Scholarship Programme throughout the country. The GPA very committed to helping our members to thrive on an off the pitch and we see education as an important plank of that strategy. Helping inter county players to get a top tier education and to boost their career opportunities is important work that we take seriously. The GPA is a National Organisation, representing over 67 inter county squads, providing enhanced education opportunities for players in 3rd level institutions across the country helps increase our regional footprint. We are delighted to have been able to make these scholarships available to members in partnership with Ulster University.”
