As Financial Controller you will be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the organisation. This will include the development of a financial and operational strategy for the organisation, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer the main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Monthly/Quarterly reporting
- Annual reporting
- Bank and Cash
- Risk Management
- General Management
Qualifications / Experience:
Suitable applicants will have hold a degree in finance or another business related discipline. You will also hold a professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc) and have 3-5 years post qualification experience.
Ideally we would like you to have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written, presentation, and oral communication skills. Previous experience in managing budgets of €10m+ would be essential. Knowledge of Project Management Systems and an understanding of project management would be a distinct advantage.
Staff supervisory experience is desirable as you will supervise the accounting function within the organisation. At a later date, to be agreed with the COO, management of the Project Management Team will be introduced.
