GPA Social Responsibility Programme
Under our comprehensive Social Responsibility Programme the Gaelic Players Association is committed to supporting a number of charities and social initiatives on an annual basis. We do this by harnessing the profile of county players as role models in society and promoting the benefits of active participation in sport both on and off the field. We believe strongly in the value of ‘giving back’ and encourage our members to be leaders of positive change within their communities, in Irish society and internationally.
In 2015 the GPA will be formally supporting a number of charity organisations, including the renewal of existing partnerships with mental health groups Headstrong and Pieta House and anti-racism body Show Racism the Red Card. If you have a query regarding your charity please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that as the GPA receives a significant number of charity requests we may not be able to support your cause at this time while many individual county players are already engaged with specific charities.
